Supporting Teachers…Shaping Futures

Teaching has been my life's work. For more than 44 years, I've had the privilege of serving students, teachers, and school leaders in a variety of roles—from classroom teacher to instructional coach, Director of Instruction, Assistant Superintendent, Executive Director of Human Resources, and educational consultant.

While each position offered unique opportunities, I discovered that my greatest passion has always been working directly with teachers. There's something incredibly rewarding about helping educators solve challenges, celebrate successes, and grow in confidence.

That passion is what inspired me to establish Holmgreen Educational Consultants.

I believe that every teacher deserves encouragement, practical guidance, and someone who genuinely wants to see them succeed. Whether you're navigating your first year in the classroom or stepping into a new role, my goal is to provide coaching that is supportive, personalized, and grounded in real classroom experience.

My approach is collaborative rather than evaluative. Together, we'll build on your strengths, develop practical strategies, and create solutions that work for your unique students and classroom.

When teachers feel confident and supported, students thrive—and that's why I love what I do.

What You Can Expect From Me

  • A coach who listens before offering advice

  • Honest, practical feedback grounded in experience

  • Encouragement without judgment

  • Strategies you can implement immediately

  • A trusted partner invested in your success

When I'm not working with teachers, you'll often find me leading a Bible study, enjoying time with family and friends, or exploring new ways to keep learning myself. I believe the best educators are lifelong learners, and that philosophy continues to shape both my personal and professional life.

Welcome-I’m glad you’re here!
